Whiterock Takes Minority Stake in Belfast Vehicle Fleet Camera Firm Mantis
A Belfast firm that specialises in AI-powered camera solutions for vehicle fleets has taken new investment from Whiterock's Growth Capital Fund.
Founded by brothers Harry and Neil Girvan, Mantis provides advanced multi-camera safety technology and predictive analytics to help fleets prevent collisions, lower insurance costs and protect drivers. Its flagship product Mantis Recon combines AI and video intelligence to deliver real-time risk assessment and driver safety insights.
The Belfast firm said the new cash injection will support its ambitions to expand across North America and Europe. Following the minority investment, Whiterock's investment director and former CFO at First Derivatives, Graham Ferguson, has joined the Mantis board.
Harry Girvan, chief executive of Mantis, said: "Our relationship with Whiterock is about far more than investment. It's a strategic partnership that strengthens both our leadership and our capability to scale globally."
Paul Millar, chief executive of Whiterock, added: "We are proud to back Mantis, a company that exemplifies the kind of high-growth, globally ambitious business our Growth Capital Fund was created to support."
