Cirdan Imaging Ltd, a medical informatics and imaging technology company in Lisburn, has received a £1.5m funding boost from the Growth Finance Fund.
Cirdan plans to create 50 new jobs over three years and has moved to a new office at the former Coca-Cola factory in Lambeg. Established in 2010, the company specialises in technology that supports and speeds up diagnosis in pathology.
Its main products are 'ULTRA', a Laboratory Information System, and CoreLite, an x-ray system that helps expedite breast cancer diagnosis. Recent achievements include a US distributor agreement and a multimillion-dollar LIS contract supporting laboratories in Singapore and Malaysia.
